I believe in a strong therapeutic alliance. The stressors of life can become overwhelming and painful. Everyone can lose their way sometimes. It is my goal to use person-centered, strength- based and solution-focused strategies rooted in mindfulness to help you find your way back. This can be done through a strong partnership in which you play a key role in creating a therapeutic plan to meet your needs and reach your goals towards inner balance. The first step is the hardest. We can take it together.

Personal Experience
I am currently in my 19th year as a Professional School Counselor in Orange County Public Schools. Through these years I have worked with children, teens and young adults on a wide range of social, emotional and personal concerns. My passion lies in guiding individuals through grief, anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem issues , adjustment struggles with life changes and interpersonal challenges. I believe in providing a safe space that allows a person to process through past trauma and pain in a self paced and gentle manner.
I graduated with a MA in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida in 2005. I am a registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and an EMDRIA Approved EMDR Therapist in training.
