Biography
Personal Experience
As a graduate-level student intern, my passion is to offer a warm, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment for clients as they navigate challenges, foster growth, and heal. I believe in working collaboratively, drawing from my training and insights while honoring your unique expertise in your own life and identity. My client-centered approach emphasizes empathy, respect, and open-mindedness to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and create meaningful change in your life.
I am a master's level student intern studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University, and I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Colorado State University. In addition to my clinical training and education, I bring my compassion, presence, and empathy into the therapy space to build a connection and create safety for emotional exploration.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, and highlight a trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based approach in my therapeutic practice. However, I take each individual client's needs into consideration, and pull from multiple approaches depending on individual circumstances. At this time, I am accepting clients for individual psychotherapy on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning in June.
