Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. At first glance, you may not be able to tell that I am such an animal lover. I also love all things Disney, sports, and exciting adventure! I grew up in Virginia for 22 years, then decided to move to North Carolina for a few years. I settled here in Florida about 3 years ago to work for Disney (I still do). I became a therapist because, when I was younger, I went to therapy and felt that she made such a huge impact on my life. I encourage a safe and peaceful therapeutic environment. I want all of my clients to feel seen and heard.

Biography
Personal Experience
I received my B. S. in psychological sciences from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia (where I grew up for 22 years of my life). I then started my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University online while living in North Carolina. Finally, I finished up my master's degree once I moved to Florida while working 3 jobs.
I have seen a wide range of people throughout my time as a therapist. I feel comfortable helping those that experience anxiety, depression, OCD, behavioral problems, grief, trauma, and adoption. I also feel comfortable working with the LGBTQIA+ community and encourage those in that community to come find a safe space with me. My therapeutic approaches range from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, somatic therapy, emotion-focused therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and play therapy. I am also certified in Safe and Sound Protocols, which is a very cool music therapy that stimulates the nervous system and encourages the "survival mode" to turn into "relaxation mode".
