Laina Thomson
About
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Social Work at Simmons University, and I feel truly honored to walk alongside people as they work toward greater emotional well-being. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to filter yourself or have everything figured out. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, as well as compassion, curiosity, and respect. I aim to meet you exactly where you are, without pressure or judgment. Everyone’s story, pace, and capacity for growth are different, and I value creating a collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward in ways that feel right for you. Outside of my clinical work, I recharge through coloring, crafting, and spending time outdoors. These moments help me stay balanced and grounded, and they remind me how important it is to nurture our own well-being while navigating life’s challenges. I’m currently training under supervision and am deeply committed to continued learning and growth as a clinician. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, coping with anxiety or depression, or simply looking for someone to talk to, I’m here to offer steady, authentic support tailored to your unique needs.
