Biography
Personal Experience
Lauren has experience working in outpatient mental health settings and community mental health. She is a registered mental health counseling intern with the state of Florida. Her therapeutic approach is integrative blending evidence based treatments and interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered, Solution-Focused Therapy and Attachment theory, based on the individuals goals. Lauren has specific trainings in trauma informed approaches and play therapy.
Lauren completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan as a double major. Lauren has been residing in central Florida for 6 years now. She received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Central Florida. Lauren uses an integrated approach to therapy in which she tailors her treatment to meet the client’s individual needs and developmental stage of life.
Lauren has experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, specifically children aged 5 and up, teenagers, young adults, people of the LGBTQ+ community, people of differing religious background. Lauren specializes in helping people with relational concerns, life transitions, anxiety, and depression.
