Biography
Personal Experience
Viktoria has worked extensively with individuals from all over the world with different religious, cultural, and family beliefs and values as they have navigated difficult and stressful life transitions. Prior to her career in mental health, Viktoria worked in higher education, helping college students of all ages successfully navigate college life, difficult career decisions, and life and relationship stressors. Viktoria chose to pursue a Master of Social Work (MSW) due to her time teaching a university course on global citizenship, her passion for advocacy and activism, and her desire to make mental healthcare accessible.
Viktoria earned a Master of Social Work from Florida State University, a Master of Education in College Student Affairs from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. She is trained in several specialist therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solutions-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
Viktoria specializes in helping people work through life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, and issues with self-esteem. She has a specific passion for working with college students and adults who are navigating new seasons of life.
